We are incredibly proud to share some exciting news. BB Designs has won Innovation of the Year at the Sustainability InDesign Awards 2026. Amtico Flooring sponsored the award. It recognises the very best in sustainable design across the commercial interiors sector.
What This Award Means to Us
Ashleigh founded BB Designs in Bradford in 2022. Since then, we have built the business around one belief commercial interiors can and should be designed with the future in mind. This award validates everything we have been working towards. It is not just a win for BB Designs. It is a win for the idea that sustainable design does not have to mean compromise.
What Makes BB Designs Different
We have never used sustainability as a marketing word. We build it into everything we do. Every piece of furniture we make can carry a TruCO₂ product passport. We laser-etch a QR code onto each piece. Clients can scan it to access full material traceability, embodied carbon data and end-of-life reuse guidance.
Our Takeback Loop™ programme goes further. When a client no longer needs a BB Designs piece, we take it back. We refurbish it and give it a new life elsewhere. We also source reclaimed materials locally wherever possible. This keeps resources in circulation and out of landfill.

What’s Next
This award gives us more motivation to keep pushing. We are continuing to develop TruCO₂. We are growing our standard product range. We are taking on more commercial interior projects across Yorkshire and beyond.
