BB Designs (previously Bee Brand Designs) emerged in 2020 with a bold mission: to redefine interior design through sustainable practices. Founded by Ashleigh and Mikey, our company is driven by a shared passion for creativity and environmental responsibility. From our base in West Yorkshire, we craft spaces that inspire and prioritise sustainability, serving B2B clients in workspace growth for offices, as well as retail stores, restaurants, bars and hotels in the hospitality sector.
At BB Designs, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword – it’s at the core of everything we do. Our founders, Ashleigh and Mikey, bring a wealth of expertise in bespoke furniture and interior design to the table. Their combined passion for sustainable practices drives our team forward, shaping our approach to every project we undertake.
We are more than just designers – we’re advocates for change. As a sustainable interior design and build firm, we specialise in tackling large-scale commercial and retail spaces. Each project is meticulously planned and executed with a focus on minimising environmental impact. From the sourcing of materials to the construction process, we prioritise sustainability at every step.

Each project is designed with a low carbon footprint and high quality finish in mind, utilising reclaimed materials and non-toxic finishes to ensure that our designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally friendly.

Managing Director and Founder of BB Designs is an impact-driven and creatively ambitious entrepreneur with a passion for sustainability. With a BSc in Product Design and over 8 years of experience in bespoke installations, interiors, and live events, Ashleigh’s goal is to disrupt the commercial interiors industry with her vision. She utilises her expertise in conceptual and technical design to create bespoke, sustainable interior and furniture fit outs within the commercial and hospitality sectors. Ashleigh’s portfolio includes projects for clients such as, Red Bull, Mercure Hotel, live touring kits for international superstars, Formula 1 and, Formula E. With a focus on the circular economy and ethical suppliers, Ashleigh combines beautiful design and technical knowledge with forward-thinking to support a sustainable future.

Design Director at BB Designs, brings over 8 years of professional experience in Industrial & Product Design Engineering. Prior to co-founding BB Designs, Mikey accumulated expertise in bespoke luminaire design, rapid prototyping, and engineering. His creative and technical prowess has led to the development of custom lighting solutions for numerous prestigious buildings and projects worldwide. Notably, Mikey’s contributions include the shortlisting of a luminaire for the Lighting Design Awards for Best Interior Luminaire in 2017, alongside having many Design Registered products across the globe. With a passion for innovation and sustainability, Mikey continues to drive excellence in design solutions at BB Designs.
