Reclaimed Wood Slat Mountain Form:
Triangular mountain-inspired sculptural form built from reclaimed pallet slats
Vertical slats graduate in height to create a dramatic three-dimensional shape
LED strip lighting along the base and rear edge creating a warm backlit glow
Geometric Painted Shapes:
Large half-circle in deep navy painted directly onto the wall
Oversized pale blue circle creating depth and layering
Tilted blue accent panel adding movement and colour contrast
Backlit Acoustic Panel:
Circular acoustic panel with LED halo backlighting
Provides sound absorption whilst doubling as a striking focal point
Nexus at the University of Leeds commissioned BB Designs to design and install a bespoke feature wall for their collaborative workspace. Using reclaimed pallet slats, geometric painted shapes and a backlit acoustic panel, BB Designs created a handcrafted sustainable centrepiece that is as functional as it is striking.
